The company may only be taken to be registered in one Australian state or territory (even though it will, in actuality, be incorporated in, and throughout, Australia and will be regulated by the one Australian body - ASIC). It is usual to opt for the company to be taken to be registered in the state or territory of the company's principal place of business.
